"Excellent food and service. Not only would I recommend this Restaurant but it’s well worth going out of your way to get here, it's that good! The menu boasts some really bespoke choices with absolutely amazing flavours, superbly presented and simply mouth-watering. The establishment was quite busy when we went on a Saturday evening, but the staff were completely on point and managed to keep on top of everything with big smiles and a friendly demeanour."

"Popped in for a spot of lunch and what a lovely time had! Staff went out of way to fit us in without a booking. Had a Beautiful Herb Crusted Sole from the specials menu and lovely Pate! Food, Staff and atmosphere couldn’t be faulted and dog friendly too! What’s not to love!"

"A first rate service and food for our family wake . Superb staff and buffet, and the help before the day of the funeral was excellent. We had sole use of the conservatory and outdoor shaded areas and many of our group were elderly. Melanie and Michelle were so helpful and kind , and everything we asked for was flawlessly provided, with smiles and patience aplenty . All the gluten free options were all clearly marked and the asiette of puddings was superb, and all gluten free, even the salted caramel cheesecake and Eton mess .
We enjoyed buffet A, which included triple cooked fries, sweet potato fries, Mediterranean pasta salads, house salad , wraps, super home made sausage rolls and much more besides. So much choice and all so fresh and tasty. The garlic focaccia went down well as did the coronation chicken wraps, and the provision of urns for teas and coffees great on arrival. We would recommend the leather bottle to anyone who wants a family event using just part of the building, and I am sure they do bigger parties as well. The staff and chefs did us proud. Hannah the manager was incredibly helpful before the day as well , and great with all our emails and requests. The price was good value as well . Thanks a million!"

Booked on a whim after reading reviews and was not disappointed! Friendly staff. Great food. Partner had steak pie. I had fish pie. Really tasty and well cooked. Could not ask for more. Will definately return!!

"Yesterday had lunch with friends. I had the skate as my main and it was cooked to perfection by Steve the chef. Must also praise the service which was first Class . Some lovely wines also. Will be returning to this charming restaurant in a beautiful location. Highly recommended."
